Easy designs for short nails : avoid or lessen the despair of a chipped nail

Long nails can be very, very hard to keep and maintain. We all know that feeling, that incomparable feeling of loss when our nail... chips. *cue gasps of horror* Let us all share a moment of silence for all those lost nails over the years. Thank you. Design 1: The bold stripe

This design is a classic that will never go out of style.  Whether it be a single vertical line down the middle or a few diagonal lines across, it can always manage to look cute and funky.

The secret:

The best way to get a straight line is to use nail art tape, or if you don't have any, normal tape. Simply paint on one colour, then add tape to the area you want to keep, then paint the other colour.

Design 2: The outline

It's amazing how much a simple line or two can make your nails appear more sophisticated. Outlined tips are a great style that can be paired with other decorative nails.
